Report: Yandex debuts in buying right to show US series Castle Rock

MOSCOW, Jul 27 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet giant Yandex has agreed with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution on the purchase of several series, including Castle Rock based on the stories of Stephen King, which has been the first series acquired by Yandex for its video service, business daily Vedomosti reported on Friday on its website.

The Castle Rock series will be available for users of Yandex’s service KinoPoisk with the Yandex.Plus subscription, the Internet company said. The first episode can be watched on Friday along with the release in the U.S.

In the nearest months, Yandex.Plus subscribers will get access to several other series of Warner Bros. International Television Distribution and other producers.

Yandex opened an online cinema on KinoPoinsk in late May.
